I know The Book of Mormon is the word of God because I have read the book and prayed and asked God if it is true. I have received many answers to my prayers by the power of the Holy Ghost that the book is the truth. The answers have come to me most often as a thought in my mind or heart, and you will recognize that the thought or the feeling is not your own, but instead comes from God.

Tenho recebido muitas respostas de Deus às minhas orações pelo poder do Espírito Santo que o livro é a verdade. As respostas para mim são geralmente um pensamento em sua mente ou coração, que você reconhece não é o seu próprio pensamento, mas em vez o pensamento ou sentimento veio de Deus.
Heavenly Father answered my prayer when I was 9 years old that I should play basketball and become the greatest basketball player ever.
Initially, when some people hear this, it is not uncommon for some to think that God did not speak to me; that it was my imagination instead.
God did answer my prayer through the still small voice of the Holy Ghost. I didn't see an angel, I didn't hear a voice, nothing dramatic happened, it was simply the still small voice. The still small voice pricks or touches your heart, it speaks to your spirit and is discerned by your heart to where you recognize the thought or the feeling is coming from God and is not your own thought or feeling.
However, along my journey to become the greatest ever it seemed everything was going against me, it seemed everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. It seemed that God was not there and was not helping me even though I knew he did answer my prayer when I was little.
Well, I never gave up, I never quit! I kept going and was absolutely determined that if I exercised faith, that God would work the miracle and I would achieve my dream.
And the miracle did happen! A real miracle! I did achieve the dream God gave me! The world will not see that I achieved my dream, but that doesn't change the truth that I am the greatest ever. Anyone who performs the greatest accomplishment is the greatest ever! This is the lesson Heavenly Father wanted me to learn. I am a Champion! Anyone who doesn't give up is a Champion!
The MOST difficult thing and also the GREATEST thing you can do in your life is to get back up when you get knocked down! And the only types of people that can perform this greatest accomplishment are Champions!
Don't let anyone tear you down and away from your dreams and from becoming a Champion!
